While packing up to leave the hotel and take an available flight to Miami, Kevin fends off the hotel staff by playing Angels with Even Filthier Souls, making them think an armed guest has opened fire in the hotel. The next morning, Kevin goes to the hotel lobby, where Hector wishes to apologize for supposedly walking in on his father's shower. However, Kevin tells him that his father has already left.
When Kevin is watching the movie in the hotel room, there is a man making him an ice cream sundae. We see the sundae first completed with three scoops of ice cream, and the scene changes to another angle of Kevin on the bed. The attendant asks him how many scoops, and there is only one in the dish.

Although Kevin could also have had cash in another one of his coat pockets or cash in his pants pocket that the concierge did not notice. The duo chase Kevin to Uncle Rob's house wherein they ask him to just throw down his camera and they promise not to hurt him. But instead of his camera, Kevin throws bricks at Marv from the rooftop.
I do hope your father understands that last night I was simply checking the room to make sure everything was in order. All right, now, if Kevin hadn't have screwed up in the first place again... Then we wouldn't be in this most perfect and huge hotel room with a truck load of all this free stuff. So I think it only fair that Kevin get to open up the first present.

Kevin flees the hotel, only to be recaptured and kidnapped by Marv and Harry. Marv takes his ticket and notes that he is on a round trip to Miami and told him that he got on the wrong plane, and Harry rips his ticket, thus ensuring that Kevin would not get back home to Chicago or to Miami with his family. As they plan to get their revenge on Kevin for sending them to prison, Marv boasts of the plan to rob the toy store, which Kevin secretly records with his Talkboy, and Harry warns Kevin to keep his mouth shut because he has a gun. The bandits lose him and figure that he is no longer a threat to them, as he had no home in the city. Curry, born in 1946 in Grappenhall, Cheshire, England played Mr. Hector.
He jets straight past this stall, but has an idea so he runs back and buys two sets of necklaces. The film was distributed by 20th Century Fox even when Donald Trump appeared in it. Ironically, the company television affiliate 20th Century Television was also airing The Simpsons at the time. At the airport, there are Navy sailors in dress whites.
Bandits' Defeat
This address is on the Upper West Side, a half-block from Central Park. In some airings of the movie, they cut out the scene with Kevin at the World Trade Center due to 9/11. This is the first Home Alone movie where the child is not at his actual house, before Home Alone 4. Home Alone and this film both featured scenes from How the Grinch Stole Christmas! As Harry checks his teeth after the explosion, Marv climbs a stack of furniture to try and get back on the upper floor.
He soon realizes that he is actually in New York City and is alone while his family is in Florida, much to his preference. Meanwhile, Harry and Marv, – now christened the "Sticky Bandits" by the latter – have made their way to New York on a fish truck as well, after recently escaping from a prison in Chicago during a riot and plan their next scheme. I can't trust anyone in this family and do you know what? If I had my own money, I'd go on my own vacation, alone, without any of you guys and I'd have the most fun in my whole life. You know, Kevin, the last time we all tried to take a trip, we had a problem that started just like this.
Production
Zimmerman had guest starring roles on the TV shows, "Doctors", "Blessed" and "Numb3rs". First he steals a scarf which is checkered, and then he steals some mittens which are red. Next he steals some orange, furry ear muffs and lastly he takes a persons' blue and white wooly hat.
Taking the opportunity to settle their score with Kevin, they bring him to a secluded part of Central Park and plan to shoot him after going too far with his pranks. Just in time, the Pigeon Lady intervenes, and Harry tries to shoot her instead, but his gun turns out to be jammed from the varnish that fell on them earlier. She pelts the bandits with a bucket full of birdseed, prompting pigeons to swoop down on them and swarm them. Kevin flees and sets off fireworks that he bought earlier to signal the police, who arrest the bandits and discover Kevin's photographs and tape recording to use as evidence against them.
The toy store itself is the film's version of an actual New York City store, FAO Schwarz. The exterior of the store is that of the Rookery Building in downtown Chicago, Illinois. The airport scenes were exponentially more difficult to shoot than the first film, because not only did they have to stay operational during filming, but Macaulay Culkin's new-found celebrity required extra protection for him from fans and paparazzi. The scene where the Frenchman converses with Kevin in French on board the plane is translated into Spanish on the DVD's French audio setting. A real version of the Talkboy, the tape recorder Kevin plays with in the movie, was created by Tiger Electronics shortly after the film's release, along with its pink-and-purple counterpart, the Talkgirl.
When Marv got his hand off and said something to the woman in French, she slapped him in the face and walked off. On another day, Harry and Marv were walking with Kevin and they spoke to him of their plans to rob Duncan's Toy Chest. They got to a street corner and were waiting to cross the street and the fashion model was right in front of them.
The two embrace and apologize to each other before heading back to the Plaza as Kate explains that, like Kevin, the family didn't like the palm trees in Florida either. The bandits reach the roof by the time Kevin climbs down to the sidewalk and Marv tries throwing a brick at Kevin, but misses. They climb down the rope, but Kevin, having soaked the rope with kerosene, lights it on fire, causing them to fall and get covered in varnish.
Harry and Marv end up triggering extra traps that Kevin had set up in the garage. Kevin watches as Marv ends up triggering a trap where a running lawnmower falls on his head . In February 1991, the Los Angeles Times reported that John Hughes was to sign a six-picture deal with 20th Century Fox; among the projects was a sequel to Home Alone. In May 1991, Culkin was paid $4.5 million plus 5 percent of the film's gross to appear in the sequel, compared to $110,000 for the original.
